Light Shines Down

This is one of my dearest friends, we go way back…. way …. way …. back … lol… we had a blast in college.  We were roommates.  I just love her forever.  Her family is simply darling and I love that they had so much fun.  I have always wanted to shoot at this location, and it happened to be where she picked.  She wanted to do the outside, and I asked her if she knew the owners… she didn’t.   Then literally this car pulls up and I ask them if they owned it… sure enough… they did…. YES!    We were able to shoot inside… its just to die for…. everything, the lighting , the fixtures, the little details…. we got lucky that day 🙂 Seems to be how things work for me… yeah karma 🙂

Seattle 2010

Fun times. Good food.  Tons of Laughs.  Seattle Rocks.  This family was so FUN…. Luv families like this.. they were game for ANYTHING!!!!  The MOJO they have just works!

It’s one of my most fav. places in US for sure… have been going there for over 13 years now and still love it.  There is just so much diversity and culture you could NEVER get enough, well I couldn’t….Great place to visit so glad I have work there:)

I have had the privilege of working with this this family for six years now… love them… its been so fun seeing Ashley turning her dreams into reality.  I remember so long ago when her mom told me she wanted to do this…. way to go!  Love my pictures too 🙂  You are beautiful girl inside and out!!!!!

October Family Portrait Month / Operation Smile/ Mini Sessions Boojum Tree {Jenny Schomaker PHX Photographer}

It’s that time of year again… I know its gone by so fast.  I am raising money again for Operation Smile, with “Family Portrait” Month http://www.familyportraitmonth.com/operation_smile.html.  I absolutely love this cause… I am so fortunate to be able to donate every year, thanks to all of you. WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

So, what better way to teach your kids about service.  I am going to pick a friday in October and hold family sessions at this location.  YOUR kids will LOVE you and family pictures… get them out of school early or better yet… don’t go to school… make it a family day of GIVING….don’t get me wrong I am an advocate of school myself… but every kid deserves a break and needs to learn how to serve 🙂  email me for more options and prices…. jschomaker@mac.com

DR. Sudha {hope for ARI}

I have been working on a wonderful project with Dr. Sudha. http://www.greatcareforkids.com/ She is a loving, caring doctor and absolutely wants the best for her patients.
